My name is Kara Dorow. I am a 30 year old wife and cat mom living in Wisconsin. I have been crocheting since I was around 12 years old. My mom had a membership to our local YMCA and I remember seeing a sign there one day for a crochet club and I immediately wanted to join. I was the only one in this club under the age of 50, but I went every week, and learned new stitches and skills with women who had been crocheting for longer than I have even now.

I will admit that during my teens and early 20s I kind of lost the love for it. I put it on the back burner and just didn’t pick it back up again. However in the past year or two I have really been working on my skills and perfecting my craft. I am finally in a place where I want to share my work with the world.
